Online Tutoring: Back to Stir the Pot (and the Brain!)

Tutoring used to be my daily passion. For over 20 years, I helped learners make sense of tricky Maths, Physics, and Life Sciences. I marked matric exams and saw many learners light up when they finally understood something. It was a joy to be part of their success. Then, like a good potjie left to simmer, I took a step back.

But here’s the thing about a potjie: sometimes it just needs a stir to bring it back to life. After many calls from parents and students asking me to return, I’m thrilled to say, I’m back! This time, I’m offering online tutoring — bringing the same experience, now with the convenience of learning from home.

Nobody likes a red card, and no one likes overpaying for tutoring either. At just R200 per hour, my tutoring is affordable and straightforward. No contracts, no hidden costs, and no middlemen driving up the price. You simply book when you need help, pay online, and the lesson follows right after.

Learners need more than answers. They need someone to believe in them. In my lessons, I make sure learners feel they’re improving with every session. It’s amazing to see their confidence grow when they realise they’ve mastered something. That moment is priceless.
