Below are a few examples of my foray into digital designs for the classroom and beyond, reflecting the earlier days of Ed Tech. As a principal for many years, the need often arose to prepare classroom materials that an assistant could easily manage in my absence for meetings and other duties during the day.

Once again, the slides presented below were in PowerPoint and then using design software converted to the HTML5 format. Thus availiable on a diverse range of platforms.
Another grade 8 activity, this time a short video on food webs. The challenge here was to create the “field trip effect” and also use indigenous fauna and flora as example. The entire video was produced in Powerpoint.
Once again, embedding HTML5 content allows for a self-guided experience by the learner – even on the now ubiquitous cell phone. I have a passion for play and learning, and the LEGO-inspired item here was absolutely fantastic since the learners got to play too.
